Getting Login Error For Outlook For Mac Gmail Account Even Though The Password Is Correct10/21/2021
I use a matrix password that changes depending on the site I access. I thought it was me, at first, but after repeated instances across a couple of my gmail accounts, I realize it’s Gmail’s problem. Perhaps MS Office fixed this bug in the 2016 version.I’ve experienced the same thing. Once I turned off the 2 Step Verification in Gmail's online web server, I was able to enter my pass phrase in Outlook and Gmail went online. The Gmail account would not take my password (even though the 2-step verification worked in the Mail App). Also, it started happening concurrently with the new request for our phone numbers. Think about it, how many other sites that you visit have this problem. Why do they purposely do this, so they can capture your phone number, which in most cases is your cell number. I only encounter this with Gmail. It’s no accident that this happens as it’s not a common problem among other sites. I tried to re-set but then decided to use my same password before the reset and I was able to access my G-mail account.

ATT/SBC Global have also begun the hob-nailed march across my POP accounts.IMAP and POP3 are protocols that allow you to download email messages from your Zoho Mail server and access them with desktop email clients like Outlook/ Mac.I may be some sort of a dinosaur, but I have started, … and stayed with Juno (UnitedOnLine) since 2001.
